Our Approach

This space is guided by the wisdom of the Seven Directions—a holistic path that honors balance, growth, and connection.

The wisdom of the Seven Directions offers a path forward. Together, these directions create a map for healing, transformation, and wholeness—guiding each of us on our unique journey.

Here, you are invited to explore these directions as touchstones for your own healing—finding clarity, connection, and peace along the way.

To understand the teachings of the Seven Sacred Directions, consider these key points:

East

Emphasizes new beginnings and the importance of vision. In the east, we honor our beginnings, spring, birth, and new opportunities.

South
Focuses on growth, trust, and the nurturing of relationships. In the south, we honor our growth, warmth, summer, and youth. It is associated with learning and building one's identity.
West
Represents introspection, reflection, and the lessons learned from experiences. In the west, we honor our endings, autumn, and reflection. It is associated with adulthood, making decisions, and finding rest and closure.
North
Teaches wisdom, strength, and the importance of responsibility. In the North, we honor winter, wisdom, elders, and challenges. It is associated with facing hardships with strength, endurance, and clarity of purpose.
Above
Encourages connection to the spiritual realm and higher consciousness. We honor the spiritual world, the cosmos, and our higher consciousness. It is a connection to the sun, moon, stars, the air we breathe, and our higher power.
Below
Highlights the significance of grounding and connection to the Earth and our bodies. This direction is about being grounded, recognizing our connection to all life, and showing reverence for the earth that provides for us.
Within

Promotes self-awareness, inner peace, and understanding one's true self. The seventh direction is the self, the heart, and the spirit within. It is the point of balance from which we interact with the other six directions.
